You can definitely pair your Mountain Radio with the Expedition Radio. The first 22 channels are the same on both radios, so you can simply match the channel and privacy code (if actived), and you'll be all set.

Both the Mountain Radio and Expedition Radio are compatible with all other FRS and GMRS radios.
